Under the Weather.

So I am not feeling good.. I think that Bryan got a cold and then gave it to me which in return I gave it to Alex. So now all three of us have runny noses and have trouble eating and swallowing! My poor Alex is only 4 weeks old and he already has his first cold. I am trying to make sure he does not get a fever. He is still eating well he is just sleeping a lot.
At least we have next week to look forward to. Wednesday or Tuesday uncle michael Is coming to help daddy decorate the garage to make it a haunted house! woo hoo! It will be october soon!
Seeing how it is now fall I am sure we will be having more days and weeks of being under the weather!

It's fall.

Wow, It is fall already. I can not beleive how fast time is flying by. I feel like I just found out I was pregnant for the second time.... but that was way in Jan!!! I love the Fall. That is when Halloween begins and then slowly thanksgiving comes up and then finally Christmas. I am excited this year for the holidays. I love spending time with family and friends. I can not wait for the Turkey at thanksgiving! Plus this year I will have two boys! I can not wait to try and make something for thanksgiving as well. Last year we took rolls and this year I want to actually take a dish of some kind. Or a pie or something tasty! We have been trying new recipes a lot lately and I love to cook and bake... =)
I am excited for christmas as well because we made a dinner last year and we are planning on making that a tradition now that we have a dinner at our house with the family. I enjoy having family over our house. Its always a pleasure. I want that instilled in the boys. To be close to family and friends.

I am way excited for Halloween as well. Bryan and Alex are going to have a Halloween party! We are inviting the neighborhood kids and his cousin and a few of my friends children. We may decorate cookies and decorate little pumpkins and hide the pumpkins and find them. They are probably all most likely going to be toddlers so we are going to try and do things that are easy enough for them to do. Plus this year Matt is making a Haunted house thingy out of our garage. He is so super excited he can not wait to start to decorate. He would have started like 3 weeks ago if I would have let him. He is happy for next week to come so that he can start to put up our halloween decorations he is such a little kid sometimes lol ! But i love him for that.

It's been 4 weeks already?!

I can not belelive that it has been 4 weeks since my Alex was born. He is getting so big. He was 6lbs and 6 ounces last appointment. He finally fits in to size newborn clothes. Not just his little premie clothes. They seem to be getting smaller and smaller on him! My Bryan is now 17 months and he is getting so big! He already has 9 teeth and it seems that he is teething right now. He has about 4 teeth coming up including some molars. He is naughty he has learned how to smack and learned how to talk back and just be a mean little boy. He also likes to break stuff! He is a rough little boy. He has my personality! lol Matt and I have been struggling a little but I guess that is normal and to be expected since we have two children both under the age of 2 and one being a new born. It is a hard time for us but we are getting through it and will probably become a stronger couple because of our strugles.
Our 2 year anniversary is coming up!! I can not beleive that is has only been two years. It feels like longer. I feel like I have known him my whole life. I feel like nothing else in life happened before Matt and I met. We took Alex to his first cardnials game yesterday night. It was fun we actually sat behind 3rd base and it was the front row!! it was awesome! I am so glad that we get to do things like that with our boys! I can not wait to go to a Blues Hockey game with both of them!

Alexandre'

Alexandre' was born on Aug 25th. 2008. After 37 long weeks of Pregnancy I went for an acute appointment after being told the week before that I was getting Mild pre- eclampsia with High blood pressures. I had a really high blood pressure that monday and they said well do you want to have him today? since you having a c-section we might as well just get this little boy out and we will not have to worry about you getting eclampsia. I was in shock. Matt decided the day before that he was not going to go with me to the dr. and be with Bryan .. The week before he went to each appointment and they would not take alex out... so I had to go home and get him so that I could go to the hospital with him and have alex. =) I was so nervous I wanted to just jump out of the bed and run. I was scared to get cut open for the second time in a row and I was scared of recovery. I checked in the hospital about 10am or so and Alex was out by 2:55pm He weighed 5lbs and 12 ounces and was 18 inches long. This C-section was very different I was wide awake. The epidural hurt sooo bad! I was so glad to have it all over with and to see my miracle!!! I love my Alexandre' he is so cute and tiny! He looks just like my little Bry bry did! I am so blessed to have such cute great little boys!!
